DSU vs. Simon Fraser University
The Red Storm traveled to Burnaby British Columbia for a
game in the rain and cold. DSU scored fast and furious to take control of the
game early in the first half of play. After and intense offensive and defensive
battle in the rain DSU pulled off their 4th win of the season. It
was a game that came down to the wire after and onside kick by SFU. SFU
recovered the onside kick in excellent field position.  Down by 7 points with one minute left in the
game SFU attempted a pass but it was picked off by Christian which sealed the
game. Final score DSU 42 SFU 35
Next game is at Azusa Pacific
DSU vs. Humboldt State
It was a big homecoming win for Dixie State Football. It was
an intense battle on both sides of the ball. With a packed stadium and perfect
weather DSU pulled out their 3 win of the season. With an exceptional game by
the quarter back the Red Storm won with a final score 28-19.

DSU vs. Western Oregon University
WOU traveled to DSU for a night game at Hansen Stadium. WOU
scored on their first possession with a 61 yard drive down the field which made
the score WOU 7 DSU 0. Both team defenses held tough throughout the first
quarter. DSU finally got on the board at the end of the first quarter with a
field goal. The score after one was DSU 3 WOU 7.
The second quarter began with a pick-six by WOU to make the
score DSU 3 WOU 14. A fumble recovery by DSU resulted in a touchdown pass score
was DSU 10 WOU 14. After a back and fourth battle throughout the second
quarter, WOU completed a wide open catch for a 74 yard touchdown pass. Score
was DSU 10 WOU 20. After a big interception by Christian, DSU scored a
touchdown. WOU scored another touchdown on another big pass play. Score at
halftime was DSU 17 WOU 27.  
WOU had another big touchdown pass to start the third
quarter to take a big lead of 34-17. DSU kicked a field goal to make the score
DSU 20 WOU 34. DSU had a big touchdown pass to Frie which made the score DSU 27
WOU 34. Each team scored another touchdown and score after three was DSU 34 WOU
40. After a couple of big plays DSU stalled twice while they
were in the red zone. WOU defense was tough and didn’t give up a score in the
fourth quarter. WOU added another touchdown late in the fourth quarter to make
the final score DSU 34 WOU 46. 
Next up Humboldt State at DSU for Homecoming.

DSU vs. Central Washington University
DSU traveled to Ellensburg Washington to play the Wildcats of CWU. 
DSU defense started out strong and held the Wildcats to 3 points 
throughout the first half of the game. The offense also started out 
strong and scored 17 quick points. The score at halftime was DSU 17 CWU 
3.
The third quarter started our well for DSU, the defense held strong but after several questionable calls by the refs the momentum shifted and CWU took advantage and scored 14 quick points. The score was ties at 17. Both the DSU defense and offense played hard and stood their ground. DSU finally got on the board again with a touchdown pass which made the score DSU 24 CWU 17. After another questionable call by the referee CWU scored to make the score DSU 24 CWU 24. With 6 seconds left in the game CWU made a 42 yard field goal which made the final score CWU 27 DSU 24. It was a very disappointing loss and we working to get back to our winning ways.

DSU vs. Simon Frasier University
With a STAR
performance by the entire DSU football team, the SFU Clan from British Columbia
suffered a big loss in the desert. DSU came out prepared for the battle.
The DSU offense and defense were firing on all cylinders throughout the game. The
DSU offense scored first and never looked back. Defense held strong and didn’t
give up a touchdown throughout 3 quarters of the game.  After and impressive DSU battle the score at
halftime was 25-0. 
DSU came out to start the third quarter again in impressive
fashion. Again the defense fought hard and played well and did not give up a
score. The offense continued to shine and scored twice more during the third
quarter making the score 39-0. The fourth quarter was a time for a few of the
backup players to get some playing time. SFU scored two touchdowns during the
fourth but were unable to convert the PAT. Final score DSU 39 SFU 12.
DSU will be on the road next week at Central Washington
University.
