After and agonizing 20 hour bus ride to Arcata, California the DSU Red Storm were victorious and earned their first win of the season. The Humboldt Jacks were the first to get on the board with a touchdown. But the Red Storm came storming back with a touchdown of their own the score was 7-7 early in the fist quarter. Both DSU offense and defense continued to play well the rest of the quarter and throughout the half. The halftime score was DSU 42 HSU 10. 
The Jacks struck first in the third quarter with a quick drive down field eventually scoring with a run by their running back. Dixie struggled on offense and defense and allowed one more touchdown by the Jacks to make the score 42-24 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter saw Dixie find the end zone again with a 17 yard touchdown pass to Duncan which gave Robles 6 total touchdowns for the day; 3 passing and 3 running. The final score was 49-24 and Dixie got their first win of the season. Next Game: October 5th vs. SFU in St. George.
